Meet the Staff
Ruth Levisohn, MA,CCC,SLP:
Ruth Levisohn and Associates is a pediatric private practice that specializes in speech-language and learning issues in children. Ruth Levisohn, clinic director, has been serving children in the Denver community for over 30 years. Her experience includes work in public schools as well as in specialized clinical programs. She was instrumental in bringing specialized multi-sensory explicit reading technigues to the Denver area. She has received recognition from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association for excellence in Continuing Education. She is married to a pediatric neurologist, and has three sons. Her practice specializes in speech and language development and disorders in children, as well as learning difficulties, including dyslexia. Staff includes speech-language pathologists and educational specialists.
Michelle Moore, M.Ed: An Educational Specialist who started her career as a classroom teacher before entering private practice. She has been trained in multiple programs and is an expert in multi-sensory techniques. Michelle has over 12 years of experience in education. She received degrees from Lee University with an emphasis on Human Development and certification from, North Georgia. Her training is specialized in the areas of phonemic awareness, comprehension, fluency, and other components of reading. She is also trained in multiple multi sensory math programs. She is married with two young children that attend the Littleton Public Schools.
Laurie Crook M.A., CCC-SLP: Laurie has taught in both the public and private school systems for 30 years. Her experience ranges from working as a Speech/Language Pathologist, teaching in a Title I middle school reading program, and teaching English and writing to high-school students. She has many years of experience working with Special Education students ranging in age from 5 - 21. Her time at RLA has focused on using research based techniques that reach a wide variety of students. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees at the University of Northern Colorado. She is committed to giving students the tools and strategies they need in order for them to be successful in all aspects of their lives.
Erica Krzyzanowski, M.S., CCC-SLP: Speech Language Pathologist. Erica received her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. Before joining our staff in 2015, she worked with a variety of students ages birth to 28 years old in homes, clinics, and schools. Erica is passionate about building each child's confidence and empowering families through home programs and education. She loves giving students the tools and strategies they need to succeed!
Normie Callif, M.S.: A Reading Specialist, who comes to our group with 14 years experience teaching Literacy in the Llittleton Public School System.She received degrees from Bowling Green State University, Bachelors of Science in Journalism. She graduated with her Master of Science in Education with a focus on Elementary Reading and Literacy. Normie has been trained in explicit multi-sensory techniques and is able to apply her skills in literacy to children of all ages.
